Tournament of Champions

We are excited to announce that registration for 2024-25 Tournament of Champions has started!! Tournament of Champions is a great chance to represent OH Hawks, learn to play, compete against other schools and HAVE FUN!!! Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity!

Volley Fest Recap

Our Hawks teams did extremely well during the Volley Fest tournament on Oct. 26 and 27. We had 7 teams that competed this weekend to represent Orchard Hills. Here's a quick rundown.

73 students in 7 OH teams competed
51 total teams across IUSD and TUSD participated
Grades 5/6 and 7/8 in both boys and girls divisions
5 of the 7 OH teams had coaches that are Beckman volleyball players for a total of 13 high school students and 4 parent coaches

How did we do?!

Two teams won their division!

Girls 7th/8th won the championship in the 7/8 Girls B Division out of 11 teams!
Boys 6th won the championship in the Boys 5th/6th division out of 9 teams!

Girls 6th made it to the finals but lost in a close game. They won a 2nd place medal!
6 of our 7 teams won at least one game

The future of volleyball at Orchard Hills is bright! Big shout out to the OH Admin and PE department for supporting us through this season with use of the gym and outdoor courts as well as the indoor and outdoor volleyballs. Our teams would not have had the success that they did without it!

We are fortunate to have many parent coaches and Beckman high school students to train and teach our kids. Thank you all for your time, energy and leadership.
