We are so excited for you and your 8th grader(s) as they graduate from middle school this year.  We have so many fun events planned for them this year to celebrate this huge milestone. Orchard Hills School, in collaboration with the Orchard Hills PTO, has organized several special events to celebrate their achievements. 

PURCHASE 8th Grade Event Tickets (PARTY & VIP Upgrades and Parking)

(All students must be in good academic and social standing to be eligible to participate)

Disneyland - May 15, 2025 (ORDER BY MARCH 7th)

• Buses will leave Orchard Hills in the morning around 8:30 AM and return around 6:30 PM. 
• Students CANNOT be dropped off at or picked up from Disneyland.  Students must take the bus from and back to school. 
• The cost will be around $136/student for a Disneyland admission ticket and round-trip bus transportation.  
• The transportation cost is $15/student for Magic Key holders.  Students with an Annual Pass are responsible for reserving a ticket for May 15th and present the reservation to Mrs. Lawver
• Students should bring additional money for food and miscellaneous items. 
• All tickets must be ordered by Friday, March 7th on Orchard Hills PTO website. 

Promotion Ceremony & Award Ceremony (QUAD) - May 22, 2025 6PM

• The Award Ceremony will take place at 10 AM.  Families will be notified if the student has received an award. 
• The Promotion Ceremony will begin at 6PM, doors open at 5:15PM.  
• Each student will receive 4 admission tickets for family members to attend the promotion ceremony. 
• A limited opportunity to upgrade these four tickets to a VIP section will be available in the Spring. 
• Each family member must have a ticket to enter the promotion ceremony in the middle school quad. 

Promotion Party (MPR) - May 29, 2025 5:30-8pm

• The party will be held at MPR.  The cost is around $45 per student, which will include dinner, desserts, DJ, photo booth, games, etc. This will be a fun night for the students to celebrate with their friends.
• The party will be at night; however, this is NOT a formal event.  Attending students must follow all dress code guidelines which are outlined in the Orchard Hills Code of Conduct.

• Yearbooks are available for purchase online NOW at http://orchardhillsyearbooks.com/ for $65.

In January, the school will issue a behavior contract for each student to promote positive behavior, ensuring they can participate in all 8th-grade activities.
